i am not sure what email you are sending to, could you put it in a post?
the correct place to register domain use is http://opensourcematters.org/domain-nam ... quest.html providing you are sure that the site meets the requirements for approval

i would suggest you complete the application form from the link provided and report any errors with the form
If you have only recently as in the last week or two completed the form then you will not get an answer for about another week. the system from processing the applications is changing and some of the process is taking longer than expected, as details in the other posts in this forum complaining that its taking more than 2 days to get a domain approved (if it meets the requirements of the OSM )

Ok i did it again:
i see:
Thank you

Thank you for submitting a request for domain use. Our volunteers process the requests as soon as they can, but please be patient as there are many requests and each one must be checked individually.

But i dont get any email notification abt that. Is that normal?

They are probably still checking the sites they have in the queue, much the same way the jed do.
have you checked your site meets the requirements of the OSM approval process before submitting as getting the team to check through the sites, making notes of all the errors, preparing a response and advising on how to correct your site to meet requirements can take the volunteers time up.

nothing from me except to remind people of the requirements to gain approval for using the jooma name in their url .

On your site, please make sure that the first prominent use of the
name Joomla! has the trademark symbol (R in a circle). so the first prominent use of the registered trademark name should be written as joomla!®
and the disclaimer
<site> is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Joomla! Project or Open
Source Matters. The Joomla! name and logo is used under a limited
license granted by Open Source Matters the trademark holder in the
United States and other countries."
failure to do so could possibly hold up any submissions and approvals. But im sure that when the TL team send you an email they will say if there is anything wrong.

If you find it no longer fun to create extensions for joomla then please dont blame the OSM and TL team for ensuring best practice for people who want to market using the joomla name

@ Mandville,

Thank you for your reply. I have made the nessecary changes. Can you please take a look if it Ok so?

I know i must not blame OSM and TL team. But i hope you can understand my frustration if i try to get a domainname approved I:
- The team do not respond to first submission
- With your help i made a submission again.
- Dont hear anything about the submission
- If i post here that i did not get any respons i did get a respons 4 weeks (18-09-2012) ago that we are currently experiencing some delays in processing applications
- If I email jacques again on 27-09-2012 to ask for status. Again no respons
