[solved] Incorrect logo use

Post by xxshabsxx » Fri Jan 17, 2014 2:28 am

Sorry, I have no idea where to post this, and could not find a contact email for Joomla at all. But I know of people using the Joomla logo as their own, and would like to contact a joomla staff for procedure on the takedown.

This was the only general support forum I could find out there.

Sorry if this was the wrong place, there just doesn't seem to be anywhere else to place it.

Regards,
Shabs

i'm not positive where this should go - yet if you haven't reviewed the conditional use then i thought i'd provide it http://www.joomla.org/about-joomla/the- ... logos.html.

open source matters manages the logo and trademarks - perhaps contacting OSM would be wise. http://opensourcematters.org/index.php? ... icle&id=86 (that link came from the bottom of the previous link i posted.)

Thanks!

I have sent the appropriate information and evidence off to the right people.

Hopefully this gets sorted. Always here to protect Joomla!
