i need ticker or smth like that to display any news on my joomla website

What version of Joomla are you using?
Have you tried any of this :
- Ultimate Content Display : http://www.joomlaworks.gr/content/view/42/42/

m usin 1.0.13 i have visited the site http://extensions.joomla.org/component/ ... Itemid,35/
but i have not found nethn which will fulfil my reqrmnt of a Ticker on page to flash key updates e.g.
mail server outage this morning could have been communicated using this feature
in a scrollin manner

Do you have a sample website with a ticker similar to what you have in mind. Might help in getting your requirements :-)
