I am looking for a good ratings component and after checking Joomla extensions, I decided to try and download one. I was whisked away to joomlaratings and failed trying to download xtdratings. I have spent hours trying to find an alternative way to download it. Can anyone help me out?

yeah I did. that took forever too. Actually i didn't even get the download option until i signed in. I am going to keep trying just thought someone might now. I did note that it is compatible with 1.0. So it is not compatible with 1.08?

not sure, but it should. the change at 1.1 is pretty big. the point releases (1.0.x) are bug fixes and minor, so they don't usually break things.

3PD solutions such as this one are not officially supported, so you'll need to check with the developer joomlaratings to seek support for their product. you could also check the Components board here, they might have discussed this component before.
