Forms compatibility with Windows XP

Post by joombob » Tue Apr 11, 2006 2:18 pm

Guys,

One of my users is saying that all forms on my site (the contact component, any text field in my forums) are coming out as white text on a yellow background.

What's really weird is that he's using MS IE 6 in Windows XP on a PC -- and I tested the site in MS IE 6 in Windows XP on a PC with no problems. Most of my site is white text on a black background, including all forms.

Here's my site: http://www.cc2k.us

And here's a direct link to a form:

http://www.cincity2000.com/content/inde ... t&Itemid=3

Again, he's using MS IE 6 in Windows XP, and the forms are coming out as white text on a yellow background. Has anyone else encountered anything like this?

Thanks!!!

:)  :)  :)

I looked at your form with IE6 running on windows XP and it looks fine (everything black). It doesn't look any different than with Firefox.

haha!!

it is because he is running "autofill", a google toolbar feature which gives all of the autofillable fields a yellow background leaving the white text.
