That is a large undertaking, is not going to be easy, and would need to be done by a dedicated programmer(s). Look in the thread: http://virtuemart.net/index.php?option= ... ic=13390.0 Looks like they are planning on it being a 1.1.0 release. Unless you pay someone for custom work, you are going to have to wait until that. Best Regards, Justin |

Many Thanks for reply, I noted threads are last year dated, Do you know anything more about this VirtueMart 1.1.0 ? Do you have any idea when v 1.1.0 will be released? If I install and use Virtuemart now, is there any way to upgrade to the new version and somehow shift products from a "vendor" status to actually be in a store? |

AND .. a question: Is it possible assign to a category an administrator ![]() In this sistem I can create for each customer a category (his shop) and he can manage completely (articles, orders, payments etc.) his shop in an administrator (and/or moderator) backend (or frontend) and I can check all categories (customer shops) as super administrator (all shops = multishop) Can be this a solution ? |

I suggest heading up all these questions over to the VirtueMart forums as they will probably be a lot more helpful with it and you may find someone who has created a hack in regards to your questions. I personally know what you are asking for is not supported in VirtueMart. The component is fairly new and is still growing by leaps and bounds. You may also want to try the new updated joCommerce in the extensions directory. I can't offer any assistance, but those are your other options. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Regards, Justin |

doctorlife wrote: Sorry, I haven't understood your answer/suggestion If you want to test v1.1 of virtuemart and perhaps provide feedback to the team you can download it from CVS. Do NOT install it on production site, no support is provided for v1.1, it is still in development. |

http://virtuemart.net/index.php?option= ... ic=17612.0 I implemented the hack from this thread and it works fine. Its having problems with version Joomla 1.0.10 so I suggest you use 1.0.8 as this was the version they were discussing in the thread. |
