Video tutorial, anyone?
Hi folks,
I was wondering if someone has the time and the skills to go over the steps of using Joomla?
There is a great app for this FREEWARE. I have used it alot with other softwares i make.
Check it out...it´s REALLY simple to use. Maybe one of you who are experienced and have some time over would like to start a video tutorial project for Joomla.

The majority of these Flash tutorials are still relevant:

It might be an old thread and there might be a redirect but you should update this link - if the tutorials actually work.

I've made a few tutorials for other projects (not Joomla/mambo) with ViewletBuilder, a commercial product. Still, freeware is always good for open source folks, that way we maximize the ability to work as a team. I've bookmarked the site and will check out the software later.

jessdk,
I've downloaded the Wink program, but haven't been able to test it out yet. College classes are keeping me from spending a lot of time on these forums.
You might want to look at this list on Wikipedia if you haven't done so already:

Re: Video tutorial, anyone?
Hi,
I have recently bought a joomla video tutorial recently and it is designed for complete non tech newbies and want to get started quickly.
Although I haven't watched all the videos now( my non tech brain would burn out if I watched all the videos so quickly) but the ones that I watched have helped me to understand the process and teach this to my friends.
I have a introductory video of joomla on my site( link in my signature below) so you could take a look at it.
bye,
faraz

Re: Video tutorial, anyone?
Thanks for the link. I hate it when people want to make money off open source software such as joomla by selling tutorials or addons.

i have used Wink Portable. it is a ‘Tutorial and Presentation’ creation software. With Wink you can add explanations boxes, capture screenshots, buttons, titles, generate a highly effective tutorial for all your users.
