Hi Michelle,
Is this doc going to be checked out again by dtm.exe, or is it going to be revised by you? Just making sure it wasn't forgotten. Thanks.

Hi Michelle,
Did you get a hold of dtm.exe? I know everyone is busy. I just did not want this thread to get lost.

Re: To Do: Module: Template Chooser 1.1x
rdb,
Thank you for picking up the slack while I have been away. You are a great access to the documentation team and are leading the way. I have learned a lot from you.
I was going to ask if you could maybe ask Michelle for moderation rights to modify threads and then you could update the first post by Michelle in each thread with the correct links to the 1.1x doc corresponding with the help doc you check-out and update.
For example, this 'TO DO: Module: Template Chooser 1.1x' still had a link pointing to the 1.0x help screen (http://help.joomla.org/content/view/164/153/). I changed it to http://help.joomla.org/content/view/1484/196/. But if you get modification rights from Michelle, then you can update them as you go, because I will probably miss them when I see that you have a thread checked-out, just because I don't think about it.
You'd also be able to add the [1st Revision] Prefix to the first post in each thread once you have updated the doc.
I have a two threads in the help screens private forum that explains it better and that you could update too once you have changed the links: Topic: Thread Link Updates on The Help Site & Help Site Link Updates for the Suggestions Thread.
Just a suggestion. PM me if this is confusing and let me know if you get rights. Thanks.

Re: To Do: Module: Template Chooser 1.1x
Hey Charles,
Without getting all mushy thanks for the support..
I'm not if you spoke to Michelle or she read your post but my status has been updated to Jr. Member and I've been made a moderator on this sub-forum (whoo-hoo !!)
I've been trying to do at least one module a week. I'm hoping to do 2 or 3 a week.
You have been really meticulous in going through the threads and pretty much making sure everything is updated and linked correctly. Good !
I think I've addressed most of the things you pointed out in your post. If I've missed anything please point it out.
Great teamwork !

Re: To Do: Module: Template Chooser 1.1x
Thanks Richard,
And don't think I am being bossy or anything. As far as I am concerned, you are a head of the game and I am lagging. I have been reading your revisions and working it in to mine so everything is uniform. You have been on here more than me so I thought moderator access would suit you well. Thanks for the kind words too.
Teamwork is the key!

Not in the least. I think the system we're developing as we go along works fine.
The more eyes looking over the work the better.
You've already found items that I either forgot or totally missed, this is a good thing.
So keep doing what you're doing.

Re: To Do: Module: Template Chooser 1.1x
Checking this in for comments. I'll move to the documentation site in a few days.
*** Checked back in ***
The Template Chooser module allows users to switch a site’s default template on the fly. This allows maximum flexibility to view a site’s content. For example a site may provide a template that makes heavy use of images for maximum visual effect. It may also supply a template that minimizes the use of images, to provide an optimal viewing experience for low bandwidth users or even users with disabilities.
The allowable templates are made available via a drop-down list on pages the module has been associated with (see the Pages/Items menu below). The items in the drop-down list are generated from the sites listed in the Template Manager. To activate the Template Manager go to the administrative backend and select “Site => Template Manager => Site Templates” from the menu.
Type: mod_templatechooser
Details:
Title: Enter or edit (if needed) the title that will be displayed in the title bar of the module on the displayed page.
Show title: Select "Yes" to have the title displayed. Select "No" to hide the title.
Position: Select the position from this drop-down list to place this module in a specific position on the displayed page. For example selecting "left" position places the module in the displayed page's left column. Selecting "right" position places the module in the displayed page's right column. These positions are determined by it's location in the template.
Module order: Select the order from this drop-down list to determine the order this module will appear relative to other modules listed in the same "Position" (e.g. "left" or "right"). See "Position" in this document.
Access Level: Select the access level (which is the site’s user groups) from the multi-item select box to determine which sets of users have access to this module.
Published: Select "Yes" to publish this module; Select "No" to unpublish. Published modules are displayed on the pages selected in the "Pages / Items " menu on this page. Unpublished modules are hidden from view, even if there are selections made in "Pages/Items".
ID: This is a unique identification number assigned to this module by the Joomla! system. This is automatically generated and cannot be changed.
Pages / Items: Select one or more items in this multi-item select box to determine the pages this module will be displayed on. The position that the module is actually displayed is affected by the choices made in the "Position" menu mentioned on this page.
Parameters:
Max. Name Length: Enter the maximum number of characters used to display each template’s name in the drop-down list. The default is twenty (20).
Show preview: Select the “Hide” radio button to suppress template previews in the displayed module. Select the “Show” radio button to enable template previews. The previews are generated from the “template_thumbnail.png” located in each template’s directory.
Width: Enter a number for the display width of the preview image. The default width is 140 pixels.
Height: Enter a number for the display height of the preview image. The default height is 90 pixels.
Module Class Suffix: Enter the suffix for the CSS class of this module. (e.g .moduletable-poll). In this example, the "-poll" is the suffix. This suffix class must currently be in the template CSS Style file. This allows individual CSS classes to be applied to certain modules independent of the site's default Template CSS classes.

Re: [To Do] Module: Template Chooser 1.5.x
With 1.5 beta approaching to be released, I was wondering if someone who has been checking out 1.5 alpha would have time to update this Help Screen with the new or missing content. The order of the subject matter will probably need to be updated too.
Please let me know if you are currently available do this.
Thanks!
