First of all thanks for this great menu!!

One small question: How can I add the "module class suffix" parameters?

I want to use copies of the transmenu 2.0 module with different styles for different pages.
Looks like I can do that with the module class suffix parameters.

But where do I have to put that css info?
I added them into transmenuv.css i.e.

I will launch a new site (Joomla! 1.0.7 eCommerce Edition) shortly on a subdomain. The site is installed into http://www.domain.com/folder/ and will be available on folder.domain.com. Testing the site on http://www.domain.com/folder/ this cool piece of menu worked excellently. When the system administrator activated the subdomain on the folder, browsing to the home page the load of the page stopped after the header. I guessed the problem, adn reloaded the page, finally unpublished JA Trans Menu 2.0 and the rest of the page loaded properly except the Trans Menu used as Top Menu.

I would appreciate a solution for this problem quickly.

I have a problem with items of the type "Link-url", which do not stay in active mode.
Is this a known problem?

I've got the same problem. I don't get an error, but in my IE there are no Submenus (I use the vertical mode). I found this hint, but don't know what to do:

ok, possibly stupid question. I'm new at this and though i've read the docs, tehy still dont make sence as to how to really edit stuff. Im good at HTML formating but ok at understanding php. I would like to make this template 1024x768...and I cant find a way to do it. Can someone help a newbie out...throw me a bone, or a link...something. I got no more hair I can rip out.

Are there issues with transmenu and Open SEF in Joomla? Also, is there a place where all transmenu issues are documented? Is there a way to report bugs?

I have someone who is having a lot of issues. I've been helping but there always seems to be another issue. I fixed some of the issues with CSS when using the Macphoria template, but the menu seperators (in the template) no longer worked and one of the menu item's is not being set as active. everything seems fine but when I click on the menu link, it becomes distorted. I've looks through the css and such but i still can't figure out whats the problem.

Got transmenu up and running ok but for some reasons unknown to me, the mouse over of the submenues is lost? It's lost even on a clean install of the transmenu so it's not something I have screwed up settings wise...

I then load this into a table in the layout that looks like this:

This works fine in Firefox but in IE it just won't do mouse over on the submenu items. See http://www.sjeren.net/taide/ and try them in IE and see if the colour change on the submenue items???

m23 -> Not sure if you reply was regarding my problems or not? The example sites you had though was having problems with the top level items while my problem seem to be submenu related... Have tried tons of stuff I have read in your posts on the other thread and on other threads but I have still no clue why the submenu hover does not work... I have even compared css files with that dif application but I can't find anything that explains why it doesn't work... *hmm*

I'm having problems with vertical sliding menu(the one designed for solarflare) in IE. In Firefox it works fine but in IE the background of the menu is white in any state (active, hover ect.) despite the background colors being set to different colors in the CSS.

Duelmonster.org -> Well it sounds like the same problem I hade with my menu in IE. I managed to figure my problem out yesterday though. In my template file I had placed it as;

Yesterday though I changed this to;

And suddenly the mouse over on submenues worked.

Also note that the mouseout state of the submenu colours is defined in the .js file and not the css file...

Now I'm left with another problem though. When I uploaded it to my clients live server which is Linux, the menu have a 15px extra padding to the right of the submenu items which is not updated with the mouseover. This did not show up on my dev environment on windows.

But this is a completely different story. Check the above and see if it does not help you out?

Your menus aren't working for me in firefox or IE , and I get JavaScript errors on War Roster and Chat Room pages. Template looks cool, though. Is your site about an online game?

Yes, that is working. I thought you had one on the top menu.

And they are two shades of orange. So apparently it's working out now?

m23-> Yeah the one was on my local dev environment so it's not up 24/7. All seems to be good now although on the live client site the mouse over does not follow all the way through on the submenues in Firefox and are showing a space to the right that doesn't get on mouse over effect. Not sure what causes this yet though...

I know that the width of the menu is set by the amount of menu items + a bit more at the ends. I want to reduce the amount that sticks off the ends and would like to know which file i should edit.

Haribo85-> Are you talking about a horizontal menu and then the top level spacing? If so try and experiment with the padding setting in the menu css file. I.e. padding: 0px 10px 0px 15px;

I found this page doing a quick google search which explains what each of the four represent starting at top for the first 0px and so on.

The attatched photo is my Transmenu at the top of my site - horizontal. As you can see seperating the 'home' link from the end and the 'test' link from the end is blank space, I want to decrease this.

Haribo85-> Well if you add more padding to the left and right of the menu text items in the css file you will expand the actual menue items to the ends no? Then the actual placement, well it depends on what your template file looks like I guess. If you have div tags with absolute placement you can change the left: pixels and so on.

I like this template except I can't seem to get the drop down menu to function correctly. The menu links on the right work OK but the same identical links in the top menu generate various errors. You can see this on my demo site : www.canc.org/mos/

I've installed this template at other sites and the errors seem to follow. Weblinks generates a 'not authorized' error - other links generate an 'undefined function' error.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm using Mambo V4.3.

you will add more space between the seperator and the menu link texts no and in that way your menu will expand horizontally minimizing the blank space. Play with it...

Yeah as I said you lost me completely now. Don't know what your template looks like either so it's hard for me to get an overall idea of what you are trying to do...

The way i understand transmenu width settings it is however long for the menu items and then it adds extra on at the sides. I want to reduce the extra it adds on the sides
