Is there a module or component that allows an administrator to approve or allow the newly added login user to the site? My thought is that the once someone registers on your site, you then want to manually approve this person, for an intranet like application.  Once they are approved, then the user would get an email letting them in to the site?

Any ideas, or known, modules etc. would be much appreciated.

Is this a module?  I am having issues with my server - safe_mode=on.  It won't load, but it is not the first time.

It is a so called hack or modification of the core Joomla! files.

If you unzip the file, you can find a readme.txt with install instructions.
