I want you to know that you can show a module within an article. You could do it using the command loadposition (http://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_put_a_module_inside_an_article%3F) command or extensions such as ModulesAnywhere (http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/embed-a-include/6402).

Ok, but how could I use the output of a menu entry inside an article?
I have an entry similar to Main Menu\FAQ, of type Articles>>Section for a specific section, which
I want to be diplayed in the home page, as if that menu entry had just been selected.

But I don't know which module to copy in this case....?

Edit: sorry, my question concerns Joomla 1.5!

You could try the module of the type Wrapper for this.

Since this is the Joomla 1.0.x forum, the correct command is actually:

{mosloadposition yourposition}

Don't know what it would be for 1.5.x.

Best,
railer

Hi usmanshad,

It's kind of hard to answer this because it's hard to know how you have your site set up. I would double check your settings, making sure that you don't have duplicate module code in your page, or that the module isn't assigned to the page twice through two different menus.

Good luck,
railer

After some RND, i got the answer...
actually i have module which i want to show in the article with a position that is the part of the template...
so as the module was enabled...
it was displayed as an enabled module and as a part of the article (i.e 2 times)...
so simply i edit the position of the module with a postion that is not the part of the template...
and called it in the article...
so i got it once on the desired place...
:)
And thanx alot Mr Railer...
thanx alot...

Ah, that makes sense. Yes, I'd forgot that you have to create a new module position in your xml file for your article placement. And then place the load module code in the article, and then assign it to your module in the module manager.

Glad you worked it out.

Best,
railer
