Media Manager - cant upload documents

In Joomla 1.5.23, I can not upload files into the media manager. Can anyone help??

At the bottom it has, browse files, start upload, or clear complete But there is no search area and when I click browse files, nothing happens.

- check correct path of folder: tmp and logs
- permission of folder upload
- check type of file and media's config
what error message did you get?
