when i try to link a main menu item to a seprate template on the site. when i click on the menu item on the home page404 - Resource not found

You may not be able to visit this page because of:

  1. an out-of-date bookmark/favourite
  2. a search engine that has an out-of-date listing for this site
  3. a mis-typed address
  4. you have no access to this page
  5. The requested resource was not found.
  6. An error has occurred while processing your request.
i get this message

what am i doing wrong ? i know it must be simple

You posted in Beta-2...strange, should not be possible any more. You still use beta-2? If not, let us know and this post will be moved to the proper forum area.
