It works fine in IE but not in Firefox.

When I try viewing a video in Firefox.. I can see in the status bar down the bottom of the browser that it's transferring data but it reaches 'Done' and nothing shows up.

I made a second installation of it on another site. Same settings and everything except on solar flare template and on default sizing and it worked. Can some one point me in the right direction? Could it be because I have alot javascript in my template that's interfering?

Thanks in advance!
Hi rsoyosa,

My videos are becoming distorted no matter what Master dimensions I give them . My videos when exported are 320X240...a pretty standard size. Any help would be greatful.
I still can't seem to figure this out. My parameter settings are the same as the exported video size. It seems like it is mostly the width that is being squeezed no matter how much I increase the width, I still have white on either side of the video.

Here's the link to the one that's not working: http://www.cardacademy.com/v1/content/view/35/47/
And here's the one that is: http://www.dafiix.com/joomla/index.php? ... 2&Itemid=9

You may notice when you view the page source that it calls on getvideo.php and passes the file name. That's just a script i wrote to get the videos from outside the public_html folder.

Thanks!

Don't know if it helps but this is what I see:
The URL for the video you have the problem displaying when displayed in FireFox is
http://www.cardacademy.com/v1/content/v ... =Intro.wmv
If you put that in a fresh tab, it changes to this URL
http://www.cardacademy.com/v1/index.php ... NotAllowed
And you get the following message:
Membership required!

The Content you are trying to see is available only for members of our site. If you already have a Membership you need to log in to see it. Please follow this link if you want to register: Registration Page

Joining will take you less than a minute - we use the service of:

PayPal
When you view the same page in IE the video URL is
http://www.cardacademy.com/v1/getvideo. ... =Intro.wmv
and yes, it is viewable right away. If you put that URL in FireFox it still cannot pull it up. So why the URL change between the two browsers. I have a feeling the issue lies with the Account Expiration Control component. The second link you provided that works in FireFox, I assume that site does not use that component? Good luck!

thanks FerretLife,

your reply helped me find the problem. Just needed to add $mosconfig_live_site to the URL for the video as it was using relative addressing.

I have a quick allvideo question. on my website users can set up profiles and i want them to be able to stream their music/video to my site; os my question is would users be able to use the coding for allvideo or does it only work through the backend? If this is the case what plugin would you recomend?

Please, people.

Direct all question to the AllVideos forum. We cannot keep track of everyone's requests, unless everything is gathered in one place.

Thanks.  ;)

Hi people,

I've just installed the latest version and the plugin doesn't work. We were using the v1.something and everything worked fine, but we need to post an mpg video stored in our server inside the content, so we felt an update with all the new features was necesary. First we forgot to uninstall the previous version (it didn't seem to be a problem since the new one installed successfully, but it's necesary to mention) and then we rpublished the new one. Nothing happened, the plugin seems to process the {[youtube]}something{/[youtube]} line since it doesn't appears in the content, but the video doesn't show. We have lots of streaming videos spreaded in our pages so it's an obvious problem  :-[, Thanks in advance people!

[ EDITED ]

Seconds later, i have fixed the problem. you have to move the plug-in to the last position, well, the fastest fix iif you want!!.
