Looking for a better way - Playoff/Tournament Brackets CSS

Post by reddogfantoo » Thu May 17, 2007 3:27 am

I run a site that contains a large number of playoff/tournament brackets. Currently, these are entered into normal content pages and saved as a content item. However, I'm copying and pasting from Excel, so it's creating a lot of unnecessary xml code, and if/when I change my theme, the colors of the text & borders in the table do not change. Can anyone suggest a setting I could add in my css, or such that could help with this? Some way to define the table borders when they will change from cell to cell? (one cell would have borders on the left and bottom, the next have none or just one)

looking for the same. joomla 2.5 component, were you can
1: store player names
2: entry player names into tournament (16,32,64,128 Knockout Draw or double elimination)
3: seed players (like in tennis 1 plays 32, 2 plays 31 etc)
4: entry a score eg: 5 to 3, were player with 5 points advance to next round (bracket)
5: Draw (manually select a player to play into specific position within the draw)
6: Event Name, Venue, Date, Entry (email link)
that is most of it in General
