My suggestion is: if you don't want the "Recommended service" links,
choose another template.
I was a bit quick in disabling the links (I was helping 2 highschool students that had chosen the template for thir project work). If you look at the template details (log in as super admin), you see this text:

Important:Please Respect our work, You can modify our link title and description But Do Not Remove our link on this template.
IMHO it is wrong of the auhors to trick people into investing time in using the template. It is not at all apparent at first that the spamish link at the bottom is "our link" and cannot be disabled. They should be clear in their terms of usage about the nature of the links - advertisement. It would be reasonable to have a link to e.g. their own company site.
However, their trickery does not justify breaking their terms of usage (if you can call it that).
Apart from the above, the template version at the time of writing has flaws in multi level menu handling that are serious enough to choose another template anyway (there are so many available on the net, perhaps too many). But the menu flaws may be fixed in future versions...
