how to get rid of top menu?

hello friends
i have some kind of problem with top menu. the problem is that, now i'm using Ja Iris . in that template topmenu is something mirror of Main menu. if you add 20 menu in Main menu, all of them will appear in topmenu also. how can i erase, get rid ot ther top menu? i tried from do something from Menu >Menu manager. but everything is in wain. i think there must be some way out of this problem from erasing some code from template files. but i don't know from which one .

please,if someone know how to solve this problem, help me.

I didn't use that template. But mostly in many professional templates options to select for topmenu are there.I mean for topmenu which menu you need to select and show. I recommend you to edit the template that you currently using in your template manger and check it.
