Unable to make links using a Mac

I use Joomla 1.5.14. I update my site using both an iMac and a Windows based laptop. I use the TinyMCE 2.0 editor. I can add pdf links using the laptop but not when using the iMac, regardless of the browser I use. I have scoured various preference settings but cannot find what is blocking a successful link occurring when I use the iMac. Help please!

Try using JCE Editor (www.joomlacontenteditor.net). Sounds like you're having a Safari issue? Have you tried Firefox on the mac?

Also, try disabling flash uploads (use html instead)...
