Hello all,

I was wondering if there is a way to embed a flash movie (.swf) in an article.

I have already used one of the Flash Management Extensions* and it has worked in the sense that it can display a movie but it does so on all the pages.

As a result of this, I was wondering if there was a way to embed a flash movie (.swf) in an article?

Thanks,

ojhernandez

* (For those interested, the Flash Management Extension I was using is "The Flash Module" http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... ement/366/)

a quick google search: joomla flash embed in an article
turns up:
http://www.astahost.com/info.php/embed- ... 10713.html
which says:
"Try going to Add New Content. Then, in the WYSIWYG editor, there is a Flash button (represented by te Flash .swf file icon), click on it and follow the steps from that. I think you will need to upload your .swf file first and then provide the external link to it."

I have seen this article and it did not work.

The WYSIWYG editor does not have a Flash button.

I haven't used TinyEditor.

I changed it to JCE.

Will that not work?

Thank you so much!

You got me on the right track!

To clarify for others who might be having this issue.

You have to go to the Parameters of the plugin.

Thanks,

ojhernandez
