Hello,

I've spent the last month trying every solution I could find online - it seems my DB is corrupted and cannot restablish my site.

So, I've decided to do a fresh install. Customizations I have well documented and can re-do them in less than a day. Users are controlled and documented and can recreate them all.
What I have not backed up and cannot afford to lose though is the articles and attached content.

There must be a way to go fish them out from the DB directly (IF they're not dead). Does anyone know which tables would I need to query to get my content outathere? Or, is there some sort of guide around that says what content is where?

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Acoyauh

Not sure what made to come to the conclusion that your DB is corrupted... anyways, whatever hosting you are using for Joomla, must be taking backup of your database. Contact them if they can get you the DB and you can restore it. I know some hosting providers that takes regular backup of your DB (and some take backup of content as well).
Best of Luck !!

jos_content is where articles are stored.

Tough way to learn the lesson, but anything that you can't afford to lose should be backed up to at least 2 computers, if not 2 diverse geographic locations.

Are you actually seeing a database query error? If so can you post that? Also, things like Joomla version, MySQL version, PHP version, etc. are always helpful. ;)

Corrupted database tables can be repaired with phpMyAdmin and it takes a minute to fix.
