Hi there,

I have just noticed something very strange with my website http://www.itservice.co.nz/

Making changes in the HOME PAGE articles saves it and refreshes the page at the back end fine, but it doesn’t make the changes on the front. When viewed from the back end again and check and the changes have been made but not converted across to the home page. Any ideas why there are two home pages and the wrong one is showing?

I have searched the forum and some say that had similar issues and it only updated 10 mintues later or so? Well we changed it about a week ago and its still the old content.

See photos attached..

Thank you in advance :)

Rene

Did you clear your caches (both browser and Joomla!)?

That's what I meant ;) You can safely delete these files. If the Cache-Plugin is enabled the files will be restored, i.e. your pages will be cached again, once they get a hit.

Hi Thanks for your help, and very sorry for the late reply, I was out of office for a little while..

I tried to clear the cache but it came up with following problem.

Delete failed: '7f69201c2893b32e9b71d002522e7e71.php_expire'
Delete failed: '7f69201c2893b32e9b71d002522e7e71.php'

Delete failed: '0015e38655aa039b8ab086a53ec207fd.php'

Any idea what would stop me from deleting it?

Sometimes I get similar problems when clearing cache, but next day it is working normally.
