where si this <iframe> coming from??

Post by FlooringSales » Fri Mar 06, 2015 2:38 pm

I have just taken over from the previous web designer, I am new to Joomla! coding etc. so sorry if this is a really obvious answer.

One of the articles has an embedded url via an <iframe> html tag as far as I can see.

Inside Joomla all the article contains is the text "{{brochure}}"
brochure_article.PNG
However on the live website the iframe is present. I saw the iframe via looking at the source code.

Code: Select all

<iframe name="Joomag_embed_2f0b0126-03a0-41ad-9671-9514152b52fe" style="width:100%;height:400px" width="100%" height="400px" hspace="0" vspace="0" frameborder="0"  src="http://www.joomag.com/magazine/flooring-sales-brochure/0103644001391532455?p=1&e=1&embedInfo=;image,https%3A%2F%2Fd25ow0ysq5ykrj.cloudfront.net%2Fflash%2Fgui%2Fthemes%2Fdefault_new%2Fbg.jpg,fill"></iframe>
brochure_source.PNG
I think the plugin "editor-tinyMCE" is allowing the <iframe> tag but I still don't know where the code is coming from so I can edit the url it is embedding.

I have tried to put the code directly into an article, but when I save it the code disappears.

Any input is highly appreciated.

Based on that code, its like the plugin. Joomla used {} to get the plugin code to work inside the article.

the code {{brochure}} maybe it the plugin code which used by the previous developer. Please check first the plugin list in your Joomla! admin.

And better you give the url, and the page in case, so we can view the good analyze based on our experience.

the code {{brochure}} told joomla to access folder/url with flipbook interface using flash.

if the flipbook application came from http://www.joomag.com/magazine/flooring ... 1391532455, that plugin will work as an iframe with that code {{brochure}}

Please check your plugins page or you can capture it to this thread.
