https error when using reverse proxy

Post by cairoapcampos » Thu Jun 15, 2023 6:46 pm

I use an old page based on Joomla 1.5. I understand that this version has been discontinued. I use this page only to redeem posts and photos. The site is down most of the time.

Recently I needed to migrate this joomla site to a new server that uses reverse proxy. When I access the site via IP, it loads normally. However, when access is made via DNS name, the CSS is not loaded.

When viewing the page code:

Mixed Content: The page at '<URL>' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet '<URL>'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://mysite.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet 'http://mysite.com/plugins/content/att

What to do? Does this joomla support Nginx reverse proxy?

Welcome to the Joomla forum!

View the HTML source code of the page and search for links starting with http, instead of https.

If the error message identifies the script that causes the error as a plugin, download the file from the plugins folder and check how it sets up the path for the stylesheet. Or copy and paste the code here, but inside code tags.
