'You are not authorized...'

Post by wriggler » Thu Mar 05, 2009 5:15 pm

Hi,

On many pages, when the user is not logged in, I get a 'you are not authorized to view this resource' message. Fine, but to site visitors not familiar with Joomla this doesn't make a lot of sense.

How can I alter the code so that, instead of showing that message, I instead get a 'you must log in' message together with a login or signup form?

Thank you!

Matt

Thanks. Will that allow me to add a login form to the same page? What about redirecting the user to the page they were initially trying to get to, once they've logged in?

most of the time it will redirect you once logged in. As for the login module, the only thing I could suggest is to keep one visible at all times.
