I have a client that uses asp scripts to query their AS400 and serve up product content. I've used iframe technology to serve e-commerce successfully, because there's really nothing to it other than a single line of code.

Is there a knowledgebase for how to point a Joomla site at asp queries?? I don't even know if I'm asking that question properly...

Essentially, I'm not going to use virtuemart or anything because the client just wants to present the information already on their servers [product, ordering etc] through the Joomla site I'm developing.

Help!

DanFromOhio

PS. Using the latest Joomla available

I am not sure, but your customer might have a SQL Server database with their ASP application, so you could extract that information using php-odbc (if you are running on windows) then built your HTML request/response pages within joomla framework.

Hope this helps.

Anyone? Other thoughts or suggestions on serving asp information into Joomla sites? Extensions maybe?
