Seems that I have a search problem, what happens is when i search for some words the search cant find the article, but when i search for some word on the same article it finds it without a problem: Image
This is only for a couple of words as in the image the word "URBAN", "urban" and "Urban" is never found, but when I type in Lifestyle thats in the intro text its found straight away, is there some sort of word filter that some words are not found?? I have tryed making a new article with the same name with no luck... and another example I have an article "Trekking - Road" that cant be found but the article "Trekking - lite" can, even when i just put the word "trekking", "trek" and "tre" in it only comes up the "trekking - lite" article.

very frustrating

The actual word Urban must be a keyword of the content, title, ect...

Also, within the plug-in manager, type "Search" in the filter, should be at least
six separate search plug-in’s, each must be enabled, and with desired settings.

Hope this helps!

nope still doesnt work, seems like it cant find the word as the word lifestyle is in the same sentance:

Panther Urban Bikes verkörpern jenen Lifestyle, jenen Chic, den Großstädter und Lifestyle orientierte...

surely if it can find the word lifestyle it should be able to find urban that comes befor it. Its just wierd all pages are the built the same way (since i used the same template to build them) but the search just cant find certain words within the pages

Yes most of them are, but all other content is aswell. as an example I made another page with just text html (without tables or other formating) :

Image

sorry for the large image

content of the pages is the words "urban" (both meta and keywords have also urban set) and "testword = lifestlye"to check if the page is found in the search. Testing the page thru the search I came up with the same result of the word urban not being found but with the word lifestyle I get a result (even though theyre on the same page).

Page should be live this coming week so I will be able to publish a link, the search problems not a major problem just one of those little things that gets on your nerves cause you cant work out whats causing it.

Thank you aswell for your reply.

A previous post describes the default search:

Quote:

Also, within the plug-in manager, type "Search" in the filter, should be at least
six separate search plug-in’s, each must be enabled, and with desired settings.

If for instance, search - category is disabled, categories will not be included in search results.

Hope this helps!

All search items are enabled, like I had said.

The word "urban" is in a simple article like every other word, the fact that it can find "lifestyle" but not "urban" proves that it cant be something not activated under plugins otherwise it wouldnt find "lifestyle" aswell as other words.

or another example it cant find the page "trekking - road 2010" but it can only find "trekking -lite 2010" even though theres 4 aricle pages with the word trekking in them
