I am going to create a catagory of all kayaks (about 200 ) that are out there and want users to be able to search in couple ways, by length (I would probably just give them option of searching like 12' to 14' and 14' to 16' and so on) and by price again it would be a range value. Any ideas on how some of you would tackle this concept? I am open to extensions or using stadard Joomla

I would have used a Directory extension like SOBI2. Making fields for all the attributes like length, price etc.

Looks interesting but a few questions. Can I still use a componant like Jreviews for it or does it have its own review, rating and comment system?

I downloaded it and it does have a lot of features but dont see anyway to change the layout, colors font sizes without playing with the CSS templates ( way past my ability). The basic layout is very dull. Any ideas?

Use a developer tool for your browser (Firebug for Firefox or Dragonfly for Opera). That makes it easy to find out which css statement to change.

SOBI2 has it's own css file components/com_sobi2/includes/com_sobi2.css
