HI
I have given 644 chmod to all my files in htdocs . now when I enter the address of my files , it shows its details . For example it shows the script.js . it said that I should use 644 chmod to reduce the access to my files for security reasons . is it right? how can I reduce the access for reading the files ?

it said that joomla need at least 644 chmod for accessing the files and reading the files , is it right?f so , every one can read the files , how can reduce the access to these files ?

thanks
