Database Error: After Site offline. Cookies problem.
Hi guys i am new to joomla but not new to programming. I have spent the last 80hrs working on this joomla site, i finally finished!!! I went to bed last night knowing i would turn the project in to the client in the morning. I woke up to find the whole site with errors all over the place.
I am devastated because i lost so much time. Can anyone help me please?

Re: Hacked? What happened, Joomla crashed?
Now i reloaded the page again and got a different error:
Mage::app(1,website) failed: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
I dont understand what happened, the site was running perfect yesterday.
Im using Host Gator server (the planet)
Update 1:
Again i reloaded the site and got another error!
Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL
Update 2:
I found the problem, for some reason when i put the website in offline, it created this problem. Something wrong with the cookie being produced in offline mode. I had to clear the cookies and or cache to get the site to show back up. Really weird bug. When i put the site in offline again, the problem came back. I had to clear the cookies and cache all over again.

Check with your webhost to make sure there are no issues with the mysql server. All these errors point to the web server being unable to talk to the mysql server

Oooops you posted as i was leaving my second update. I actually did contact my host, (host gator) the tech guy is the one who told me to clear my cache and my cookies, it brought the site back up. But when i put the site in offline mode, it happenes all over again after logging in.brian wrote:Check with your webhost to make sure there are no issues with the mysql server. Something wrong with the cookie sessions or token, not sure, verry buggy.
Thanks for your reply!
Update:

Re: Database Error: After Site offline. Cookies problem.
cookie sessions or tokens generated by joomla could not be responsible for not connecting to the database. No idea about mage-bridge
