I am very new to building a site with Joomla. I have done the install, set up sections, categories and all that. When I go in to create an article for a category, I click on the Save button and nothing happens. Any advise?

I installed via SimpleScripts on ipage.com hosting. I log into the administrator part via Internet Explorer on a PC.

Since I am new to using Joomla I installed 1.5.25 simply because I could find a PDF version of a nice walk through on how to use it. Do you know if there is one for the new 2.5?

The method is the same for all versions of Joomla.

Create a database
If you can direct your Domain name to a directory then create a directory on the server. Otherwise use the root.
Use the file manager in your Host's CP to upload and unzip the file
or
Unzip locally and use an ftp client (like Filezilla) to upload the unzipped folders/files

Point your Browser at your site
Put the details in when required (do not fill in the ftp details as they are hardly ever used)

That is all there is to it.

You may wish to create a sub folder to install Joomla with sample data. And then install Joomla without sample data to the folder that is your site root. Each install requires a separate database.
