Hi all you knowledgeable people,

Would an iFrame out to google eat up a lot of resources on a joomla site?

The hosting account keeps maxing out memory and CPU intermittently - trying to track down the culprit.

What is presented inside an iframe, or wrapper in Joomla terms, does not consume resources on the server hosting the Joomla site. The content of the iframe is retrieved by the browser from the target site.
