So I can't figure out how to open links in modules in a new window.

I only want specific modules to open links in a new window. This shouldn't work for all modules.

Can anyone help me out with this?

whats the module you are using?

if its a custom module then you can just change the target if your using JCE. but if its a module that someone else has made then i dont think you can change it unless you have some really strong coding skills.

yeah its a module from an extension.
Can you think of anything specific I could look for in the code?

You could look in the file default.php that is located in the directory modules\your-module\tmpl.

What wernejo suggest could be accomplished by altering the HTML of the link (i.e., <a href ...> ... </a>).

Review of the document http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_a.asp would be of help.

Also, suggest following the output override technique as documented at http://docs.joomla.org/How_to_override_the_output_from_the_Joomla!_core.
