Hi all.

I'm hoping someone can help with this one as it's been bugging me for a while and no amount of google-work has borne fruit, as of yet!

On my front-page, I have loaded a slideshow module into the article content using the {loadposition} method.

This works well and looks fine when a browser window is maximised, but when the windows are re-sized to a smaller setting, the slideshow itself doesn't re-adjust (other elements such as text, do). What I am left with is the right-hand modules overlapping and the slideshow "disappearing" underneath. Another (smaller) issue with this is that there is an .rss feed on the right-hand side and again, upon re-sizing, the text becomes jumbled and takes around 15 seconds to re-adjust.

I'm on Joomla 1.5, using the JA Purity 2 template - width set to "Auto".

Link to development site is here: http://sandbox8.legalease.co.uk/1-legalease/

Any help on this would be massively appreciated.

Many thanks, Tom.

It looks like the minimum width for the site would need to be about 1240px. Do you have an option to put this in the back end? If not you may need to modify the CSS.

Hi Mark,

Many thanks for your reply.

There is the option within my template to set the width of the site to either:

Auto
Narrow screen
Wide Screen
Specified Percentage
Specified Pixel

I have tried all of these and it doesn't seem to have any impact (at all).

If it's a wider template issue, perhaps I would be better off asking in their dedicated forum?

Thanks again, Tom

So you tried setting the option within your template to "Specified Pixel " and entered in 1240px? Did you try clearing all cache including browser and Joomla's cache after making the change?
