live website is completely blank

I have am running the latest edition of Joomla and added Virtumart (also the most recent edition) to the site some time ago. It has been fine until today when I added com_virtuemart.2.0.10_ext_aio to the set!!!

I needed the plugins for payment options required to begin trading. Since I added this to my website all I can see when I review it through a browser is a blank white space???

That means the website is getting php errors and has an issue with a plugin. If you can access the backend start with disabling that new component you installed and uninstall. If that fixes the issue then you'll need to get support from that component's author or debug the issue yourself by looking at the error log of your website which should give an indication of the issue.
