Upgrade from 1.5.22

Hi, We are doing an upgrade and the website is currently on Joomla 1.5.22

Could someone confirm the latest version and which other upgrades we may have to do to get to the latest version?

The latest version of Joomla! 1.5 is 1.5.26.

You could download the patch joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/1 ... ackage.zip for upgrading your site to 1.5.26.

Review of the document http://docs.joomla.org/Upgrading_1.5_fr ... 5x_version would be of help in upgrading your site.

Be informed that the support for 1.5.x is suppose to have ended by September 2012.

The current Long Term Support version in Joomla! is 2.5 and the current version is 2.5.7.

Once you have upgraded your site to 1.5.26, you can plan for the migration to 2.5.x.

Hi, we have upgraded from Joomla 1.5.22 to 1.5.26 and everything has worked fine except the top toolbar menu. On the original template, it laid out the Log-In, User name etc. across the top of the page as shown here: -

but now, it has placed it in a box as shown here: -

http://www.accreditedlandlords.org.uk/copy/

and this messes up the layout.

How do we get it back to the original layout?

I think you should migrating from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5

jUpgrade allows you to migrate from Joomla 1.5 to 2.5.

Other migration solutions including commercial solutions are listed on the Joomla Extensions Directory and should be considered as well.

thanks for your reply. I read it was best to upgrade before migrating so really wanted to get the upgrade working properly and then we can do migration. Issue with log-in box fixed now though.
