How to add product from frontend in virtumart

Hi Guys,

I am using virtuemart for my site.I want to know that how to upload the product from the frontend of the site.The problem is,i want to create a number of users by which they can upload there product to the site for sell.when they upload the product the admin should approve there uplaoded product and after that they will be displayed to the site.
how to perform this task.please suggest me .if there is possibility to use another plugin for uplaoding the product.please suggest me for this also.provide me a proper guide to achieve this task.

can you please tell me how to upload the product by the user from the frontend.I am not able to get the details about my problem by the link which was provided by you.please help me for this.I wnat to upload the product by the user and after that admin should approve the product and then it will be visible to the running site.please help me for this all task.

I'm not sure what situation you're in, but I know you can setup a user account within VirtueMart and give it "storeadmin" permissions. Once they log into the frontend of the site, they can click the edit button on an existing item to gain access to the VirtueMart control panel (same thing you see in the backend except you only see the VirtueMart component). From there, the user can add/remove products as well as other tasks.

Thanks lot for this help.i have one more question regarding this.when the user upload the product then admin should approve his/her product after that they should be visible.how to achieve this.please help me.

Unfortunately it does not look like that is an option, but I could be wrong.

You might check for some extensions though, I'm sure there's something out there that will work: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... extensions

Are you referring to an earlier version of VirtueMart ? I'm using VirtueMart 2.0 and I can't figure out how to enable my customer to edit or add products from the Frontend. Without this capability VirtueMart is useless to me. It seems to do everything I need except this Frontend stuff. If a previous version does allow editing and adding products from the Frontend then I'll install the earlier version instead. I've checked the VirtueMart forums for 2.0 and it appears that when you click on the pencil for editing you get a blank screen and that is intentional (for security). Any suggestions ? Is there a version that will do what I need ? Thanks.
