Looking to Update/upgrade from joomla 1.5

i am looking to upgrade from 1.5 to a newer version will i loos the plugins and modules i currently have installed I.e

AEC membership manager
community builder
sobi2

ans so on please can you help

You will need to check each extension's web site to look for migrating instructions. If you don't find them in their FAQs check their forums. Don't know about the first one but the other two have Joomla 2.5 versions, I think CB works with all versions.
