Restore an article to previous time it was edited

Restore an article to previous time it was edited

Totally new to Joomla and was looking at a friends Admin Panel and the articles that had already been created. The online shop article only showed a heading not the full page with CD pics and info as it showed on the live site. All I did was close that article and it then wiped all the other info from the live site. How can I restore that article to the last time it was edited before I accessed it?

If that page belongs to an online shop, it may have its own component to update product pages, or did you use the Joomla Article Manager when you opened the article?

Hi I used the Joomla Article Manager so it sounds like its been set up differently.

Check to see what shopping extension the site is using, then go through the manual for that extension to see how the pages are built. You may need to post to the shopping extension's forum. The most common shopping extension is Virtuemart.
