HELP... Website Problem - j1.5.26

Hello Team,

I have been handed over a website which came with a new employment. The previous IT personnel had moved the site to a new server with a C panel complete backup which did not include MySQL DB also it was on a very old version 1.5.15. I managed to find the SQL backup and restored the database with correct name, user and what else. Now the site displays what only appears to be Welcome note i.e. Welcome to TACOSODE [ TACOSODE.OR.TZ ] The back end is accessible without a problem but only front page and Offline page are displaying the above said.

I have upgraded the site to 1.5.26 also update all vulnerable extensions/plugin but all is same
Applied all necessary fixes but the site persisted to come online, below is my forum post assistance for your preview, if one is willing to help, i can provide them with Akeeba zip backup file for the website such that they can analyze. The plan is to upgrade this site to latest Joomla version but i need to get it working with this version first before i can start the upgrade process hence need to know/learn the structure and a whole other bunch of staff from it.

Two things to check...

1) What version of PHP are you running on your server?

2) Are you sure your Joomla configuration is NOT set to be in maintenance mode?
