Unable to proceed after 4. database

I have copied files as required and tried to install - The first three steps of installation (i.e. language, preinstall chk and license) there were no problem. After I gave database details and clicked on 'Next' button - it does not proceed nor it gives any error or other warning msg - it seems it is not proceeding further.

Please help - guide me.

even if I do not give any parameters for database and press 'Next' button - it does NOT respond.
