MS SQL Server

I have a client who wants to use MS SQL Server....insists.

Can you use Joomla with MS SQL Server?  I have only used MySql.

No, the SQL queries in MS SQL differ from the ones in MySQL so you cannot use MS SQL...

I have read some messages at this forum from someone who wanted to implement some new database layer to make Joomla compatible with MS SQL. I don't know the status about that project. Maybe you could do a search at this forum for it...
