Hi, I try to instal J! v. 1.5.14 and I've installed it on other server before but now on this new one, I can't get further than step 1 ...

Any idea?

I've not error message, when I click NEXT, the page refresh and nothing happen.

This has happened to me in IE. What worked for me was to use a different browser just to get through the installation process.

I work with Firefox on MAC OS X but I've tryed with WinXP and the problem stills.

Then it sounds like a file didn't get installed/uploaded properly. You might try deleting the files you uploaded and try again. Also try downloading a fresh Joomla installation package.

You don't need to do any figuring/troubleshooting. The installation process is usually dependable.

J'ai essayé Safari et Firefox sous MacOSX, IE, Firefos et Chrome sous WinXP et j'ai encore le même problème. Est-ce que le fait que les privilèges soient 0755 sur les dossier et 0644 sur le fichiers peut nuire à quelque chose?

I tryed a clean install on Safari FF on MacOsX , IE FF and Chrome on WinXp and still have the same problem. Does 0755 mod on folders and 0644 mod on files can be the problem?

Finally the problem was the configuration of the domain name.

Where was this configuration? In configuration.php?

No. It was on iWeb.com... no relation with Joomla.
