i don't know what's wrong with it, all the other scripts like wordpress , coppermine gallery are working perfectly. i don't know what's wrong with the Joomla insallation. pls. see the screen shot attached. and help me.

This suggests that one or more values in your database connection details (username, password, database name, host, etc) are incorrect. Please note the "host" is not always "localhost" but can be the name of an external server. This is normally supplied by your hosting company.

but rest of my scripts are working fine with local host as server name.

If the name and password are correct and you are using a MySQL database then maybe one of the other installs have locked the database if they are using the same database. If that is the problem then take the other installs off line while you install.
