I am new in Joomla and I've tried intall joomla with wampserver several times but i unmanaged to complete the installation. After deleting the installation folder and trying to go to the backend or admin, I always get this massage "Fatal error: Call to undefined method stdClass::onAuthenticate() in D:\wamp\www\peaches\libraries\joomla\user\authentication.php on line 121"

I've tried to use older version of PHP 5.2 and installed it but still it's not working. Please help. Thanks before.

What is your Joomla version , 1.5.15 or older

Did you click on your WampServer icon then select PHP and then Version and place a check beside the 5.2 version? Check it a second time, I found I needed to do it twice.
