I have installed new custom template (Joomla 1.5), following the instructions from Joomla docs. when I am activating it the message after user registation(i.e. Thanks for registration.please check email.....)is not getting displayed. Please advise me what code do i need to include in my template in order to show this message.
Thanks in advance.

If you take a look in the login module (extension>module manager> there is an option for redirect or messages.

Thanks for your time. I did not created login module, I am using it from the menu manager (created only menu), so there is no login module. As far as I understand the message you are talking about is only related to login module.
I am trying to display the message that user should see once they get register successfully. but just now I have released that its not displaying any message not even duplicate user entries. but when I am switching to joomla default template I am able to see all the message.

I really appreciate your help.

That will be a template issue, looking for the code you'll need back soon...

Is the following code in the template, I'm not 100% sure but I think this is what is causing the problem.

Code:
<jdoc:include type="message" />
