Site shows white page!

Post by boizan » Sat Mar 03, 2012 7:31 am

There is a long time that I don’t visit my site (Joomla 1.5.23). Today I decided to look at it to create a backup and install Joomla 2.5, but it shows only a white page. I can log on the administration control panel, but have no idea what to look for to fix this problem.
I would appreciate very much your help!
Regards,

Delete index.html or default.html in your Joomla! directory if you find them.

Thank you so much for your quickly reply. I did not find any default.html or index.html on the root directory. I found index.html inside practically all the other subdirectories. I imagine that those are okay there. This site has been running okay -three years, since it was published the first time. Its last upgrade was to Joomla 1.5.23. What else can I search?
