I just recently installed Joomla 1.5.25 onto a windows 7 machine running wamp server 2.2.
Installation seemed to go fine, except after I deleted the installation folder and go to localhost/joomla the screen is blank. Additionally, I go to localhost/joomla/administrator/ and get a 404 error stating component not found.

I placed the unzipped files into the wamp/www/joomla folder i created.
I have several other projects in the wamp/www directory and i can get to those just fine.

I had this issue until I realized the .htaccess was screwing with my localhost. Just rename it back to htaccess.txt for now.
