 Post subject: copy the site

i ´m trying to copy my whole site. for this aim, i copy the directory and the databse. it works ok, but when i change the configration.php to point to the new database i´ve got the follong error:

What´s wrong? What can i do to solve the problem?

even you have made chages to configration.php, there are many changes you have to make.

login to your back-end, then goto "global configuration" and make the necessary changes according to new website.

I would highly recommend Akeeba Backup for copying, backing up or moving a website. It greatly eliminates the types of problems that you are having.
