I know my way around installing PHP scripts on regular websites, but I've never yet tackled installing one to show up through Joomla or any other CMS.

For example let's say I have a smallish, 5-file Php program that lets site browsers run keyword searches on a standard php page.

I'd imagine that I can install the script on the server as usual, then plug the index.php file that comes with the script as a Static Content page in Joomla...

But that leaves lots of questions... Will it accept PHP in the WYSIWYG textbox? Will it still function at all? Won't there be a permssion issue somewhere? What about the relative path between that static file and the files it talks to... Where are these static pages stored?

Or is there an easier way to go about plugging this kind of thing in?

Thanks in advance for your help.
Luke
