Upgrading data

Alright, I see a lot of posts on here about what to do if you have a website installed into 1.0.x Joomla! and want to install Joomla! 1.5.x

However, I have recently built a new server dedicated to Joomla! 1.5.x (3 right now). So I am looking at a brand new install of 1.5.3, having never installed 1.0.x, and all I have for a website is a 1.0.x Joomla! template. Is there anyway to recover the website and make it functional in this new environment?

From there on you follow http://docs.joomla.org/Migrating_from_1 ... 1.5_Stable
